Marie Skłodowska Curie is one of the greatest scientists of all time. She was the first woman to be awarded the Nobel Prize.

Marie Curie was born in Poland in 1867. She was a Physicist as well as a Chemist. She conducted research on radioactivity. She is not only the first person who received two Nobel prizes, but she is also the only person to receive Nobel prizes in two different branches of science, namely physics and chemistry.
